Use your WITS

Have you ever been angry? Well were here to tell you about using your WITS. Your WITS stand for, W - walk away, I - Ignore it, T - Talk about it and S - Seek help.

Using your WITS helps you because you might be in a fight or in big trouble so you could stop and think about using it.

First up is walk away. Being in a fight is not the best option so you should think then walk away.

You do this because you don’t want to be involved in the situation or go into detention.

Now for I - ignore it. You Ignore it by not listening to people if they're not saying nice things.

If you do you will start to talk back and say bad things to them and then maybe you’ll visit the principal's room.

Next up is Talk about it. It is important to talk about if you're in a argument with your friend or anyone.  If this happens remember to talk about it and sort it out.

Next is Seek help. When someone is in a fight you should always walk away and seek help for a teacher. This is because it might become a bigger mess but if you tell the teacher she or he will sort it all out.

Using your WITS help you by telling you what is right. It also helps by sorting out problems and situations. Has this helped you?

Happy Valentines Day!!!!

Today is the 14th of February which is the day of Valentines. Today at school everybody was saying Happy Valentines day, we also had assembly like every Friday but the assembly we had today  was a bit different.

 Happy Valentines Day!! everyone have a nice day.

Stride jump investigation

Hi this is my Estimation and Data sheet, me and my group had   to see how many stride jumps we could do in 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute an 2 minutes .

The person with the least crunches did 10.

The person with the highest crunches did 40.

There were more in the 30s and the 10s column than any other.

The search for the lost diamond

One frosty cold morning a boy named Jake  and his sister Caroline were listening to the radio and heard there was a lost  diamond in the dark and cold forest , " we have to find that diamond" said Jake.Caroline replied " No way not in that forest it's way to cold to walk in and it's a bit spooky"

Later that day when Caroline was having a nap Jake decided to be cool and find the the diamond on himself. Jake packed a bag that had loads of stuff in it like matches, torch, a coat, first aid kit  and some food. When he had packed he went to take a bathroom break.

The clock struck 7:00 pm and Caroline had woke up.5 minutes later she realized Jake wasn't there so she grabbed her coat and went outside to see if he was there. Caroline had a vision of Jake he was in the dark and cold forest alone trying to find the diamond, "OH NO" said Caroline she grabbed her torch and went into the forest to look for Jake, a few hours later she saw Jake standing next to  tree stump. Caroline called out Jake! his faced looked amazed. Standing next to Jake and seeing the lost diamond it was shinny and clear with so many twinkles. Jake picked up the lost diamond and then the two siblings walked back home and showed their parents. Their parents were so amazed and shocked. The next day they woke up and went to their friends house to show them the diamond they all froze.


                   The End... or is it.

I found out that more people  in the classroom like the song trumpets than drunk in love.
I found out that only one person in the classroom liked Rap god.
                                                         I found out that more people in the classroom like to sing.
                                                      I found out that only two people in the classroom like to do karate.

Holiday Highlight

The sunny sun was rising as me and my mum, dad and brother drove to Hunua falls to take me to cheer camp. At last we arrived there and  my dad helped me grab my camp gear and bags and then we all went to the reception to ask where my cabin was. We

found my cabin it wasn’t what I expected it to be it was green and old . I entered the loud cabin and said hi to everyone then I made my bed and placed my bags on the floor. In the noisy was the Rock stars making a lot of noise and making their beds.

When everything was put away my mum,dad and my baby  brother went for a walk well I went to play with my friends. when they were back from their walk they said “good bye” to me and then my parents and brother gave me a hug and kiss goodbye. later when my mum,dad and brother had gone I went to play with my friends.

Time for food said our captain so all the cheerleaders grabbed their utensils and plates and then lined  up. yummy yummy  lunch was over so we did activities the Rock stars had free time so we all practised our skit for the concert on Friday night and played on our phones and ipods.

As the night went past we had dinner the put our pj’s on and also had supper which was a sweet and a hot Milo. Later then we brushed our teeth did our hair and then got ready for bed.
